Trustwave Managed Vendor Risk Assessment (MVRA) Launches Globally

Trustwave, a Chicago-based managed security services provider focused on managed detection and response, has announced the global availability of Managed Vendor Risk Assessment (MVRA), the company’s cyber supply chain risk assessment solution for enterprises and SMBs.

“Now more than ever, supply chain risk is a critical component of your organization’s cyber resilience,” said Nick Ellsmore, Global Head of Strategy, Consulting & Professional Services at Trustwave. “With our ability to rapidly scale, organizations around the globe can assess a large number of vendors with deep expertise and consistent measurement without a high cost.”

The service encompasses both an automated and specialist-led assessment, built on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. Promised benefits include a reduction in staff time necessary to vet suppliers; enhanced understanding of vendor cyber risks, sensitive data, and operations; increased support for procurement decisions; vendor security comparisons; increased uptime; and improved reporting.

For organizations just beginning their supply chain risk discovery process, Trustwave offers diagnostic services, which consist of highly targeted assessments designed to help organizations understand their ability to address today’s most pressing cybersecurity risks.

The company claims more than 2,000 world-class security professionals operating on behalf of clients across 96 countries. The Trustwave SpiderLabs team provides threat research and intelligence, which is infused into Trustwave services and products.

Aryaka Announces SD-WAN and SASE Offerings

Aryaka, a San Mateo, California-based WAN specialist that is now beginning to compete in the security space, has rolled out an “all-in-one” SD-WAN and secure access service edge (SASE) offering.

“CEOs and business leaders rate growth as their highest priority but have to contend with unpredictability and change particularly in today’s environment,” said Matt Carter, CEO of Aryaka. “They are increasingly leaning on ‘cloud-first’ technology to help navigate change and fuel their transformation initiatives.”

The company debuted a global L3 private core to supplement its global L2 private core. This technology, called “Aryaka FlexCore,” allows customers to map their sites to the private core of choice, based on performance or cost considerations, as well as criticality of sites and applications. Aryaka also announced “AppAssure,” a software capability that delivers visibility, observability, and control to more than 3500 applications.

Using FlexCore as its underlying architecture, Aryaka today also introduced the “EZ” and “Pro” product lines for its new managed SASE and expanded SD-WAN offerings, leveraging the company’s Secucloud security acquisition. The pricing, packaging, quoting and deployment infrastructure has also been updated with an eye toward greater simplicity. A new premier service offering has been added as well.

Ingram Micro Launches Contracts Alliance Program to Support AWS Public Sector

Ingram Micro has announced its new Contracts Alliance Program (CAP) for the US market, as part of the company’s AWS distribution offering. The CAP program is designed to streamline the procurement process in the public sector space.

In collaboration with Strategic Communications (Women Owned Small Business & 8(a) JV, or small, disadvantaged business and Joint Ventures programs), the Contracts Alliance Program is designed to help remove barriers in cloud-based opportunities within the public sector by providing Ingram Micro Cloud partners with access to a portfolio of federal, state, local and education contracts that are widely used to procure cloud services vital to public agency missions.

Partners can accelerate opportunities in the public sector by combining CAP with AWS programs including Think Big for Small Business (TBSB). With TBSB, partners with less than 150 employees can further their AWS Partner Network tier progression and maximize earning opportunities while benefitting from CAP to minimize contract administration fees.
